Who processes the data

The data controller is Promethea S.r.l., Via Flavia 82, 34148 Trieste (TS), Italy — VAT IT01417350327, certified mail promethea@legalmail.it. For anything concerning your data you can write to privacy@prometheasrl.it.

As at the date of this notice no Data Protection Officer has been appointed; the assessment of whether the appointment is mandatory is under way.

If you write to us through the form

When you fill in the contact form we collect your company name and your email address, which we need in order to reply, and — if you enter them — your name, your phone number, the reason for getting in touch and the message you write.

We use them to reply to you and for any follow-up related to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: these are pre-contractual measures taken at your request — it is you who writes to us to be contacted. This is why we do not ask for your consent: it would not be the correct basis, and consent asked where it is not needed only muddies the water.

We do not use your address for unsolicited commercial communications. If one day we wanted to, we would ask you separately and you could say no without losing anything else.

The form sends the data to Promethea Account, the system we use to manage contacts across the Promethea ecosystem. The data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

We keep the contact for as long as is needed to follow up on your enquiry and, if it does not turn into a contractual relationship, for a limited period afterwards, useful for reconstructing the commercial contacts we have had. Then it is deleted.

If you simply visit the site

This site uses no profiling cookies, no analytics and no third-party tracking services, and loads no fonts or other resources from external domains. That is why you will not find a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.

The site stores your theme preference (light or dark) and your language in your device's local storage: they stay on the device, never reach us, and are not used to recognise you.

Like any website, the server hosting it records the requests it receives — including IP address and time — for operation and security. These logs are kept briefly and are not used to profile anyone.

Who else can see the data

The data is accessible to authorised staff of Promethea S.r.l., within the limits of their duties, and to the technical suppliers appointed as processors — today Supabase (database, European Union) and Aruba S.p.A. (email, Italy). It is neither disseminated nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@prometheasrl.it: you will receive a reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — www.garanteprivacy.it) or to bring the matter before a court.

This notice does not cover the application

If you use Cronothea as an employee of a company, or if your company is a customer, the processing that concerns you is described in different documents — and in that case, for your employment data, the controller is your company, not us. You will find them among the legal documents.

Updates

This notice may change if the site changes. Unlike the application's documents, which stay published forever at an address that never changes, this page is updated: it always shows the version in force.
