Attendance · Shifts · Leave

Staff attendance. All in one place.

Cronothea is the software a business uses to track attendance, plan shifts and approve leave. And it is the app staff use to clock in and make their own requests.

  • Free up to 2 employees
  • Every feature in every tier
  • Cancel any time, no lock-in

In short

What is Cronothea?

Cronothea is the attendance software by Promethea S.r.l.: clock-ins, shifts, leave and time off, internal announcements. One app with two sides: managers organise the work, staff clock in and make their requests from their phone. It is free for up to 2 employees.

What it does

Everyday work,
without paper or chat messages

  • Clock-ins

Clock in, clock out, breaks and notes, with total minutes and the day's history. Filter by week or month to group the days.

  • Corrections

A wrong clock-in is reported from the app: an administrator approves or rejects it, and the request is kept on record.

  • Shifts

Recurring shifts, assignment to people and swap requests with approval. Everyone sees their own.

  • Leave and time off

Requests for leave, sick days and time off, with history and approval by the right person.

  • People and roles

Invitations, roles and an employment record: hire date, department, job title, monthly hours, full or part time.

  • Announcements

A noticeboard for company announcements, showing who has read them.

All features, item by item

Two sides of the same app

For those who organise,
and those who work

For the business

Administrators see attendance and requests at a glance. Team leads see their own team, and nothing else.

  • Staff attendance, day by day
  • Shifts, planned and assigned
  • Leave and time off to approve, in writing
  • Clock-in corrections, with a record
  • Announcements with read receipts
  • Job postings and a public company page

For the staff

Everything that used to be asked in person, from their own phone. And they never pay a thing.

  • Clock in, clock out and take breaks
  • See their own history and shifts
  • Request leave and time off
  • Report a wrong clock-in
  • Ask for a shift swap
  • Read company announcements

Getting started

Three steps,
then clock in

  1. Sign in with Promethea Account

One sign-in, for the business and for its staff. Then set up company details, departments and job titles.

  2. Invite your people

Each invitation is tied to the person's email address, with the role you gave them: they find it the first time they sign in.

  3. Get going

Everyone clocks in, sees their shifts and makes their requests. Administrators see them come in and approve them.

How do I try Cronothea?

With the free tier, up to 2 employees, with no expiry and no credit card. It includes every feature, like every other tier. As your headcount grows you move to the next tier, and all your data stays in place.
